Interventional Procedures

Interventional procedures are minimally invasive treatments designed to relieve pain by targeting its source, often performed on an outpatient basis with little downtime.

Injection-Based Procedures

Minimally invasive treatments that deliver medication directly to the source of pain. These targeted injections help reduce inflammation, calm irritated nerves, and provide relief for spine, joint, or muscle-related pain.

EPIDURAL INJECTIONS

Medication is injected into the epidural space around spinal nerves to reduce inflammation and relieve pain that radiates from the spine

FACET JOINT INJECTION

Medication is injected into the small joints of the spine to reduce inflammation and relieve neck or back pain.

STEROID INJECTIONS

Anti-inflammatory medication is injected near irritated nerves or joints to reduce swelling and relieve pain.

NERVE BLOCKS

An injection of anesthetic and medication is used to interrupt pain signals from specific nerves for relief or diagnosis.

TRIGGER POINT INJECTIONS

Medication is injected into tight muscle knots to relax muscles, reduce pain, and improve movement.

Nerve Ablation & Destruction Procedures

Minimally invasive procedures that interrupt or disable nerves responsible for sending pain signals to provide longer-lasting relief.

RADIOFREQUENCY ABLATION (RFA)

Uses heat generated by radio waves to disrupt nerves that send pain signals, providing longer-lasting pain relief.

CHEMICAL NEUROLYSIS

Medication is injected near nerves to intentionally disrupt pain signals and relieve severe or chronic pain.

Spine Decompression & Structural Procedures

Minimally invasive procedures designed to relieve pressure on spinal nerves and improve stability by treating the underlying structural causes of back pain.

MILD PROCEDURE (Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression)

Removes small amounts of tissue to relieve pressure on spinal nerves caused by spinal stenosis.

VERTIFLEX PROCEDURE

A small implant is placed in the spine to create space and reduce nerve compression, helping relieve symptoms of lumbar spinal stenosis.

ENDOSCOPIC DISC PROCEDURE

Uses a small camera to remove or treat damaged disc material and relieve nerve pressure.

INTRACEPT PROCEDURE

Targets nerves inside the vertebra to relieve chronic low back pain.

Implantable & Neuromodulation Procedures

Minimally invasive treatments that use implanted devices or electrical stimulation to modify pain signals and provide long-term relief.

NEUROMODULATION

Uses electrical stimulation to modify pain signals before they reach the brain, helping reduce chronic pain.

DORSAL ROOT GANGLION (DRG) STIMULATION

A targeted form of neuromodulation that uses electrical stimulation near specific spinal nerves to relieve chronic pain in certain areas of the body.

Vertebral & Joint Stabilization Procedures

Procedures that stabilize damaged bones or joints to reduce pain, improve function, and support structural stability.

VERTEBROPLASTY

Stabilizes spinal compression fractures by injecting medical cement into the affected vertebra.

KYPHOPLASTY

Restores height and stabilizes fractured vertebrae using a balloon and medical cement.

SACROILIAC JOINT FUSION

Stabilizes the sacroiliac joint using implants to reduce chronic lower back and pelvic pain.

MINIMALLY INVASIVE SACROILIAC JOINT FUSION (LINQ)

Uses small implants to stabilize the sacroiliac joint and relieve pain caused by joint dysfunction.

 Other Interventional Therapies

Specialized minimally invasive treatments used to target specific sources of pain and improve symptoms when appropriate.

BOTOX THERAPY FOR PAIN

Botulinum toxin injections are used to relax muscles and reduce certain types of chronic pain, including migraines and muscle-related pain.
